Microsoft takes place Developer Forum 2009 in Tokyo
Nov.5 - Steven Ballmer landed on Japan, and talked about the greatness of development to Japanese Windows developers. It’s the third times of Microsoft Developer Forum in Tokyo for him, and the sliverlight live streaming powered by IIJ was provided to much more Japanese developers at the outside of venue.
He mentioned to beat VMware, Amazon, Google and IBM in the cloud market, however, didn’t touch with Yahoo, Facebook, Twitter and Apple. What’s the reason?
Microsoft Japan announced Tech Days 2010
Oct.27 – The company announced to take place the Japanese PDC named "Microsoft Tech Days 2010" next Feb in Tokyo. It will be consisted of essential PDC 2009 sessions and Japanese sessions, I think. Windows Azure production model will be unveil soon also in here!
One day sold out – Hadoop Conference Japan 2009
Oct.20 – The conference sold out in a blink of eye! At the midnight of last Friday, an announcement was delivered via mailing list of Hadoop_Jp Users Group, and then already sold out by over 200 attendants Tuesday morning. Substantively, only Monday, one day sold out was occurred!
The conference will be taken place Nov.13 in Tokyo.
Microsoft’s Future Technology Days in Tokyo with David Chappell
Oct.14 – According to a blog of famous Japanese evangelist Shinichiro Isago, Microsoft Japan took place the Windows Azure conference for developers rather than customers. The company invited David Chappell as the key note speaker who’s a writer of Azure white paper series.
After the key note, a collaboration model of Azure and Twitter was demonstrated by Japanese software vendor.
